息子は一日何度もキスをしてくれる。

噛みついてしまうときもあるけれど、頭をもって顔中にたくさんしてくれる。

7カ月ぐらいからか、初めは私にだけで、後から夫にもするようになった。

アワアワと言いながら何度かキスをし、気が収まったらやめる。

キスってこんなにも自然な愛情表現だったんだね。

母は幸せ者です。

親の気持ち

親の気持ちはわからないと母親と喧嘩をしたときに言われたことがある。
私は言い返すことができないひとことを言われて、ぐさっとくるとかじゃなく、むかっと悔しい気持ちになったことを覚えている。

子どもができて、お母さんに言われてことを思い出した。

見返りを求めない思いやり
無条件の愛


親になって、やっとわかった。

しんちゃん、教えてくれてありがとう。

手作りっていいねぇ

作るのってやっぱり楽しいなぁー

ここでの生活は、作ることが好きな人が周りにたくさんいるので、人の刺激を受けながら、ものつくりを楽しんでいます。

今日はこの一週間に作った作品をのせまーす。

ビン詰めシリーズ。

バジルソース：松の実は高価なので、クルミを入れてみました。ものすごくおいしいです。

　　　　　　　　　サンドイッチとかオムレツにかけると最高ですね。

青じそのしょうゆ漬け：青紫蘇、しょうゆ、こぶ、トウガラシ、ニンニク、生姜

　　　　　　　　　　　　　かなりいい味出してます。

ブルーベリージャム：今週末はホットケーキでおしゃれに朝ごはんを食べたいと楽しみにしています。

写真が縦になってしまいましたが、かぎ針で作った小物。

上の部分がとれて、小物を入れられるキノコと家。

昨日から、直江津のイトーヨーカ堂のお店Ｋｕｋkaで森のようちえん　てくてくの写真展をしています。
それと同時にお母さんたちが作った手芸作品を販売しています。
かわいい子どもたちの写真と素敵な作品が並んでいて、すごくいい感じの写真展になりました。
私の即席の小物入れも出しましたが、誰か買ってくれるでしょうか。。。

はーるがきーたー はーるがきーたー

ようちえんが始まって、２週間が経ちました。

私もここを少しずつ理解してきて、子どもたちとも距離がすごい近くなってきたと思う。

たったの２週間しか経ってないけど、本当にこのようちえんに出会えてよかった。

子どもの気持ちに寄り添って、子どもを信じる。

なかなかしようと思ってもできへんことやと思う。

喧嘩が始まれば止めたくなるし、「集まろう」といった時に集まらないと大きな声で叫びたくなる。

ここでは、喧嘩が始まれば、とりあえずは様子をみて、必要であれば大人が入る。

子どもたちが自分たち、又は、周りの子どもたちで解決することも多々ある。

大人が割り込んで「さぁ、謝りましょう。」とは言わず、子どもたちの気持ちを伝えあう手伝いをし、時には私の気持ちを伝える。

「集まろう」と言ったのに、集まってこない子どもたちの気持ちを考えてみる。

集まらないのが悪いんじゃなく、どうやったら、みんなが興味を抱くのか考える。

毎日が楽しいと思えるなんて、ありがたいことやなぁ。

2 weeks has passed since the kindergarten had started.

I understand this kindergarten more and more and feel closer to the children.

I only have known this kindergarten for a shot time, but I truly am thankful to have met it.

Here adults are not the ones who always make decisions. How children are feeling are the most respected..

When children started fighting, I used to feel like I had to stop them as soon as possible.

But here we first observe the situation, and to my surprise, they often solve situations by themselves.

When necessary, adults intervene between them. We step in and help them telling their feelings to each other, and sometimes, we tell them how we feel. 

It's not so easy to have all the children get together when I call for them. 

Instead of forcing them to do so, I try to think how they are feeling and and how I can get their interests.

I have been learning a lot here, and I am lucky to be able to feel that everyday is such fun.

上越にも春が来ました。

今日の夜ごはんは、タラの芽の天ぷら、味噌汁、ご飯とフキ味噌。

シイタケ入りフキ味噌は大成功やわ。

Spring has come in Joetsu. I cooked dinner with spring stuff that I had picked in the neighborhood. 

They were delicious!

尾瀬。でなく、上越。

今日は、尾瀬にいった気分になりました。
いやー、いい日だった。

森はまだ雪が溶けてないので、４月中の森のようちえんでは、森でなく大きな公園に行きます。
公園というより、元キャンプ場だった山って感じのところで、今日は、下見をしてきました。
こんな近くで、水芭蕉がみれるなんて、感動しました。
いろんな花が咲いてて、寒い中、春を感じました。

さぁ、明日はカポエイラの練習に参加してきます。

上越にきたんだわね

3月末に無事、上越市にやってきたんだね。（これ、上越弁）
隣の写真は、２月に来た時に撮ったものですが。

I've moved to Joetsu city, Niigata in the end of March. This picture is not from recent but  from my visit in February.

引っ越しは、この上なく嫌なものやと思ったけど、物の整理も心も生活も整理できて、いい機会やったかもしれん。

I thought moving was nothing but an awful experience. But it turned out to have some good sides as well. It gave me an opportunity to organize my stuff, life, and myself.  


こっちに来て、「この辺は、まだ雪が残ってんねやー」と思ってたら、びっくりすることはそれだけちゃうかった。
カメムシがおるねん。めっちゃおるねん。
この季節にカメムシと同居やなんて、想像してへんかった。。。
上越に来たのは、もちろん、前からめちゃめちゃ興味があった”森のようちえん”で働くためやけど、田舎に住んでみたかったってのもあった。
カメムシは冬、暖かい民家に入り込んで冬越しをするねんて。
まぁ、これから一緒に住むしか方法はない。
後からお邪魔させてもらったんは、私やからな。

It is my first time living in a rural area. I expected it to be different.
But I didn't expect to live with stink bugs in this time of year, and they are not just a few but LOTS...
Those stink bug go into people's houses during the cold winter and live inside until it gets warmer.
But I can't do much about it.
They have been living here longer, and I am the one who stepped into their territory...


二日前ぐらいには、あいさつ回りしてきた。
みんな栃木からきたってきいたら、びっくりしてた。
前のアパートでは、3年住んで隣人の顔も名前も知ることがなかったのに、ここに越して、一週間もたってへんけど、名前はとりあえずほとんと覚えた。
なんといっても、あいさつ回りにいった家の１０軒中、半数以上が同じ名字やったからなぁー。
でも、新しい土地に住むのは面白い。
なんか長期旅行にきた気分や。

A few days ago, I visited neighbors to greet. Everyone was surprised to have heard that I had moved from Tochigi.
In my old apartment in Tochigi, although I lived there for 3 years, I knew no one. I didn't know anyone's name. I have said "hi" to a few people but never more than that.
But here, I visited 10 houses and remembered the most of their names.
In fact, since 6 of them had the same last name, it wasn't difficult at all.
I know I am going to enjoy knowing culture here and living in a new place.  


上越にきた理由は、”森のようちえん”で働くためで、ここは、まさに私が夢見たような教育現場や。その上、自分にとってもめちゃめちゃ楽しい場所になると思う。
”森のようちえん”ってのは、文字の通り、子どもたちが森で生活し、学ぶ場所。
自然の中で、歩き、遊び、発見し、考え、学ぶ場所。
雨の日には、雨の日にしかできない発見、学びがあるから、どんな天気でも外に行く。
ここは、その”森のようちえん”に、さらに”くらし”の要素を取り入れて、有機栽培や田んぼを行ってる。
まだ、子ども達が来る前の準備期間やけど、これからの生活が楽しみでしかたない。

But the main reason I came here for was to work at a forest kindergarten. The forest kindergarten is where children learn in the nature, and, I believe, is the best educational environment.
The children play, explore, discover, think, and learn in/from the nature.
They go out on rainy days to explore the rainy forest.
This particular kindergarten also do organic farming and grow vegetables and rice.
The school session starts next week, and I can hardly wait it to start...

準備期間中の今日は、進級生へプレゼントするクラスを書いたバッチを作りました。
木をのこぎりで切って、磨いて、穴開けて、焼いて字を書いた。
めちゃめちゃ腕痛くなったけど、楽しい時間やった。
自分の名札に、やっぱり一番時間かけてしまいました。

I made class badges for present to kids on the first day of school.
I sawed a fat brunch, sanded the pieces, made holes, and wrote and drew with burning pen.
Now my arms are in pain, but it was so so so much fun.
Of course, I spent the longest time making my badge.

皆様、明けましておめでとうございます。

あーー、終わってしまった。一年、早かった。と思うのは、私だけじゃないと思うけど、時間が流れるのは早いですね。
Wow, again a whole year ended! Holy Molly, it's fast. I feel that in the end of every single year. At the same time, I thought back and said to myself "hey, this year was fun... again!", which I think is a very cool thing.
毎年、毎年、ほんまに一瞬で過ぎてしまったなぁーと思うけど、今年も充実した楽しい年やったなぁって思えるのはほんまに喜ばしいことやと思う。
去年もいろいろ作った。
私は何かを創造するってのは、私の人生の糧になっている。
One reason why I am satisfied with last year was that I had made many things.
もの作りっていいやんな。
The life becomes more fun as I create new things.

I started knitting with two sticks last year.
去年棒編みを始めました。







初めて穀物を作りました。アマランサスです。アンデス出身のキヌアのもっと小さい粒。それからスペインの豆。









そして去年は、人生で初めてカメムシの脱皮を目にしました。感動しましたね。
For the first time, I saw a stink bug casting off!! It was an amazing moment.





2011年は楽しかったなぁ。
2012年も楽しい年になるに違いないと思ってます。
The year of 2011 was wonderful.
I am very sure that 2012 will be the same.
